Paralegal, Risk and Insurance Analyst

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Risk Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in law, such as paralegals, looking to transition into a risk analyst role.

 

Position Overview:

The Risk Analyst will play a hands-on role in supporting the company’s risk management initiatives by reviewing and managing legal documents, maintaining compliance records, and directly interfacing with internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency. This is not a managerial position but a key role requiring practical execution of compliance, analysis, and legal administrative duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document & Contract Management:
  2. Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  3. Actively follow up with business units to collect and track outstanding contracts and ensure proper documentation.
  4. Maintain corporate records such as board minutes, annual reports, and compliance documentation.
  5. Compliance Support:
  6. Assist with ensuring compliance across business units, including reviewing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for accuracy and completeness.
  7. Monitor and maintain internal compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  8. Support legal research and analysis for risk management and compliance initiatives.
  9. Risk & Insurance Administration:
  10. Assist in managing the company’s insurance claims process, ensuring timely filing and communication with internal and external parties.
  11. Oversee administrative aspects of the bonding program to ensure all requirements are met.
  12. Act as a liaison between business units and the insurance broker (Lockton) for updates, claims, and policy administration.
  13. Legal Analysis:
  14. Conduct legal and compliance-related research, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership.
  15. Track and organize legal documentation, shareholder agreements, and intellectual property filings.
